Temporary School Receptionist/Office Administrator

Moyles Court is seeking to appoint a friendly and professional School Receptionist and Office Administrator.
Moyles Court School is a co-educational day, and boarding school located near Ringwood in the beautiful New Forest and offers education to pupils from 2½ to 16.
You will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming first impression of the School to all visitors, parents and pupils, whether face-to-face or over the phone.
As part of this varied role, you will answer telephone calls, deal with enquiries promptly, and direct and advise callers as appropriate. You will also liaise between parents and teaching staff for messaging and exchanging information, generate various forms of correspondence and process all incoming and outgoing post. You will also have excellent administrative skills and will be part of the school’s highly committed administration team, supporting the work of the School and Headmaster.
Good organisational skills, initiative, friendly telephone manner and proficiency in the use of ICT are essential, as well as the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
The post is a temporary term-time role (currently 8.15 am – 5.15 pm) for 34 weeks, plus up to 3 weeks in the holidays and occasional staff training/INSET days.
Salary: £21,520 per annum based on a 37-week per annum role (FTE £30,240 per annum)
Some flexibility to work fewer days, but a minimum of 3 days is required.
The postholder should ideally hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and have worked in a School or busy Reception.
