This role plays a vital part in making Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole safer, more welcoming places to live, work and travel. By tackling anti-social behaviour, you’ll help protect our communities from issues that disrupt daily life, using a balanced approach that combines firm enforcement with meaningful support for those who need it most.
As a Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) officer, you’ll be empowered to make a real difference on the ground. Conducting highly visible patrols in targeted areas, you’ll use limited enforcement powers to deter anti-social behaviour, reassure the public and respond proactively to emerging issues. Alongside enforcement, you’ll help identify and support vulnerable individuals by guiding them towards appropriate services.

This role is embedded within our Transport Network, working in close partnership with More Bus. You’ll provide reassurance, visible deterrence and rapid response across key transport hubs and on-board buses along identified routes throughout the BCP area.
Shifts are intelligence-led, focusing primarily on afternoons and evenings, with additional weekend coverage on a rota basis, placing you at the heart of the action when and where your presence matters most.
