Role Purpose

We are looking for a Web Content Editor to join our web team on a fixed term contract up to the end of March 2025.

You'll design, rewrite and review web content using Government Digital Service (GDS) and WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines across multiple websites.

Main Responsibilities

You will work closely with subject matter experts and your peers to translate often complex services into plain English. You will also need to create the most effective customer journey and simple user experience.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be able to create simple and accessible content using a strict style guide. Experience with GDS and WCAG guidelines are preferred but not essential. An ideal candidate would have experience with:

  • search engine optimisation (SEO)
