Based at the Guildhall in Old Town Poole we require a Receptionist/Clerical Officer to be the front facing member of staff to meet and greet the public at BCP Registration Services.
You will also be required to issue certificates, answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner, and undertake a variety of administrative tasks.
The receptionist role also includes registration of marriages and civil partnerships in a regular basis including some weekend work. This requires a high level of accuracy and to adhere to statutory duties.
You will ideally have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, have previously worked in a customer focussed environment and have a excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
You will be able to work using your own initiative to implement and maintain data bases and other IT applications and spreadsheets.
