Set in a stunning sustainable and eco-friendly 40-acre site close to the New Forest and Dorset coastline, the natural surroundings of our residential school and college provide a rich, enabling and therapeutic learning environment for students, aged 6-25, who have special educational needs.  We specialise in autism and communication difficulties, severe and complex learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Our residential school and college offer an individualised and flexible approach to placements. We are easily accessible via the A338 (Spur Road), and the A31 (Ferndown/Southampton), with free on-site car parking.

Full Time – 52 weeks / Term Time – 39.6 weeks

£9.01 to £10.50 per hour

Bank Staff – work when it suits you - £8.20 - £8.80 per hour 

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of caring and compassionate Support Workers, who are committed in providing the very best quality of care and support to children (6 – 18) and young people (19 – 25) to enable them to reach their full potential.

Assisting with the daily life activities of students and helping to build mutually beneficial relationships within both educational and residential settings, you will play an essential role in supporting our students with the development of their educational, social, life skills and emotional abilities as they progress into adulthood.  You will assist with on-site activities, leisure trips and off-site group events both in the school/college education department and in the residential setting.

We are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for working with children and young people, who are able to consistently engage our students through praise, direction and calmness.   You will have the ability to work with initiative, resourcefulness and passion in order to support our students, whatever your role, as part of a motivated team.
