Anti Social Behaviour Officer (18.5 hours per week)

Main Responsibilities

The post will have responsibility for dealing with cases of Anti-social behaviour (ASB) affecting the tenants of BCP Homes. Anti-social behaviour can have a serious impact on those affected.  The role focuses on acting to stop anti-social behaviour through a mixture of enforcement and support. This is an exciting role where a positive impact can be made to individuals, and reduce harm within our communities. 

The successful applicant will work closely with all teams within BCP Homes to ensure victims are supported and identify any vulnerabilities.  There will also be a need to work as part of a multi-agency team, with agencies such as Dorset police and health providers.  In some cases where there is serious or persistent anti-social behaviour there may be a need to take tenancy enforcement action, or use tools and powers under the Anti Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

A harm centred approach is taken to improve the quality of life of those affected by anti social behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-agency environment with our residents and communities to address those issues which are causing the greatest harm.Candidates will have experience of working in a housing or anti-social behaviour related setting dealing with issues which can be complex and challenging.

This is a permanent part time role.

The post is paid at the BCP Grade G £29,269 - £32,076 pro rata however, a Labour Market Supplement has been applied and the pay currently starts at £32,135 pro rata
