Salary: Main scale - £32,916 – 45,352 per annum
Actual Salary: £13,164 - £18,138 per annum pro rota
Fixed Term Until 31st August 2026
Commencing: April 2026
Oakdale Junior School is a large, purpose-built school which enjoys a hugely positive reputation within the community it serves. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our friendly school community. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach a small class of 21 children, where relationships are strong, wellbeing is prioritised and every child is truly known. A suitable candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that support pupils to achieve their very best.
- A nurturing approach and the ability to support pupils emotionally, helping them feel safe, confident and ready to learn in a small Year 3 class of 21 children (currently).
- A passion for creating an inclusive, positive and calm classroom environment where every child feels valued, listened to and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire enthusiasm, maintain high expectations, and build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, parents and external professionals.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually grow and reflect as an educator.
