Broadstone, Poole. 


Having recently joined Hamwic Education Trust, Hillbourne Primary School has appointed a new head, 

who not only has 9 years of headship within the Trust but is working with a passionate and driven 

school team. The clear vision of ‘every child, every opportunity’ will be clear to see, with a passion for 

quality education and employee wellbeing.


We are looking for an exceptional leader to accelerate demonstratable and sustainable improvements 

in attainments and ensure all staff are provided with an environment, resources and curriculum that 

allow them to undertake their roles with excellence.

• Has a commitment to their quality of teaching and learning and improving educational 

outcomes for all children

• Is committed and passionate, having high expectations of achievement and behaviour, 

making a real difference to the lives of children

• Has excellent standards of communication and interpersonal skills

• Enjoys working as part of a team and can build strong relationships with the many 

stakeholders in a school
