Job Introduction

Early Years Practitioner Required for January 2024

 

Temporary fixed term contract until 31 August 2024 (in the first instance)

 with potential to become permanent

 Salary details: £22,737-£23,114 FTE pro-rata / £11.79-£11.98 per hour 

30 hours per week (8.45am-3.15pm Monday-Friday)

Term time only - 38 weeks plus 5 training days

Stars Trust is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team at Starfish Nursery, based at Stanley Green Infant Academy.

We welcome applications from experienced practitioners who:

  • Genuinely love working with young children and are able to provide stimulating experiences for them    
  • Hold minimum Level 3 Diploma in Early Years or equivalent
  • Are friendly and approachable                                                                                                     
  • Is a team player and also able to work on own initiative    
  • Has experience of working with children with SEN
  • Able to think creatively          
  • Have the desire to progress and learn   
  • Have a good understanding of the requirements of the EYFS
