St Luke’s CE Primary School is a large primary based over two closely situated sites in Bournemouth. There is a high level of interaction between the sites, creating two small learning communities, where every child knows they are valued. The school has a strong Christian identity and lives by the values Love, Courage and Hope. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools, working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
If you are an exceptional teacher considering your first steps into school leadership, this opportunity could be for you! Can you inspire our teaching team with new developments and improvements in teaching and learning, work closely with our central school improvement team to focus on key areas within curriculum and achievement and lead on a specific area such as English or curriculum development? If you can, we would be very keen to hear from you. We are appointing a new Headteacher for September, together with the SLT you will both have an opportunity to influence the future direction of the school.
In return for your high performance and commitment we can offer a development programme specific to your own needs and career objectives, supported in school and by our central school improvement team. If you see this as a leadership opportunity, we are willing to support you with a TLR, full details of which can be negotiated.
School visits are warmly encouraged; for more information about the role please contact the Interim Headteacher, Nigel Helm via the school on 01202 514396. Please visit the school website for further information about the school: https://stlukesbournemouth.co.uk/
