Food Technician

Term Time including Inset Days

27.5 hours per week (Mon 8.30am – 3pm

Tues-Thurs 9am – 3pm, Fri 9am – 2.30pm)

Grade 3 SCP 3 £15,409 (FTE: £24,027

We are seeking to appoint a technician to support and work with our high achieving Food Technology Department. A willingness to engage positively with students and a catering background is essential.

Duties will include ordering food and supplies, (purchasing food from shops), maintaining stock levels, preparing and maintaining equipment and materials, and supporting students aged 11-16 and staff in lessons.

The ability to respond to a flexible working environment with tight deadlines and communicate with a diverse range of people is essential.

The successful candidate would be willing to positively contribute to the life and energy of our school community.

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.

This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
