32.5 hours, term time, plus inset days (39 working weeks)

Grade F, SCP 12 - 17 £27,711, £30,060 FTE (£14.36 - £15.58 per hour)

Actual Salary £20,843- £22,609 per annum pro rata

Start: September 2025

Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 (Possible option to become permanent)

The school is seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the whole class, with responsibilities including planning and delivering learning activities, covering classes when required, assessing pupil progress, leading small group interventions, and mentoring other teaching assistants, under the guidance of teaching staff.

  • Have proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HTLA in a school setting
  • Have supported children with SEND, using inclusive and adaptive approaches
  • Can deliver learning activities to a whole class under teacher guidance
  • Use effective strategies to promote independent learning and pupil engagement
  • Are proactive, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development
