Horticulture Tutor

Following a successful market test we are seeking a Horticulture tutor to GROW the programme area to help make it FLOURISH! 

Delivery locations may include; Bournemouth, Blandford, Ferndown and Highcliffe. This is a variable hours role to meet demand.

We are seeking a flexible and adaptable subject specialist and qualified tutor to help establish and to deliver non-regulated and regulated (qualification) courses such as Practical Horticulture Skills for Adults aged 19+.

Essential requirements for applicants are:

  • A teaching qualification e.g., Award, Certificate or Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent
  • A level 3 or higher qualification in Horticulture
  • At least 2 years experience in a Horticulture-based role
  • Level 2 English and maths qualifications e.g., GCSE at Grade C or 4 or equivalent
  • Digital skills, we use MS Teams/Classrooms

Desirable requirements are:

  • An Assessing qualification e.g., TAQA, A1 or equivalent
  • Experience of setting up a social and therapeutic horticulture project
  • Experience of working with community groups
