Job Introduction

Starting salary for this role is  £28,142  (pro rata for part-time colleagues) 

Currently the Recruitment & Retention Supplement for this role is a fixed amount of £1200 (pro rata for part time colleagues) 

Recruitment and Retention Supplements are in addition to the base salary.

Are you a team player with excellent customer service skills who is looking for a new challenge

BCP Council are looking to recruit several LGV/HGV Drivers who are flexible and willing to drive a range of vehicles.  

We operate a Refuse, Recycling and Food Waste service within the local area. 

The positions are full-time for 37 hours a week. It may involve some weekend working, early starts and some late finishes.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to members of the public and some commercial customers.

If you are a flexible, hardworking, team player, who is able to carry out instructions efficiently and is proud to get the job done well, you will be an asset to our team.

 

You will be expected to work all Bank Holidays, at enhanced rates of pay, except Christmas Day, Boxing

Day, and New Year’s Day. You will be required to work three catch up Saturdays (except when Christmas

Day or Boxing Day fall on a weekend resulting in a substitute bank holiday, in this situation you will be

expected to work the substitute bank holiday, at enhanced rates of pay, and one or two catch up

Saturdays).
