ROLE: Midday Assistant
SCHOOL: Hamworthy Primary Schools (Twin Sails Infant School & Nursery and Hamworthy Park Junior School)
HOURS: Term Time (38.6 working weeks per year)
1 hour per day between 11.30 am – 12.30 pm (5 hours per week)
CONTRACT: Permanent & Temporary (until 31st August 2025) contracts available
SALARY: Grade C (3 – 4) £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata
Hourly Rate: £12.45 - £12.65
Actual Salary: from £2,752.30 per annum

START DATE: As soon as possible
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed persons to join our friendly lunchtime team at Hamworthy Primary Schools. You will need to be self-motivated and enjoy working with children, to encourage positive behaviour. The role will include either: preparation of the hall, serving of hot food and supervision of children whilst they are eating their hot school meals or packed lunch in the classroom, Or supervising pupils at lunchtime in our Nursery.

Twin Sails Infant School & Nursery and Hamworthy Park Junior School are part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).
HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 35 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 32 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school

JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:
We require Midday Assistants to work within our Federation, (Twin Sails Infant School & Nursery and Hamworthy Park Junior School), within Early years or KS1.

Will work effectively alongside & under the direction of, the Class teacher, SENCO & SLT
Has experience of working with young children and is up for a new challenge
