Minibus Driver
Old Town Infant School and Nursery and Oakdale Junior School
Times of work: 10 hours per week (approx.8-9am and 3-4pm, Monday to Friday)
Term Time only (38 working weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 4, 6 – 9 (13.47 – 14.13 per hour)
Start Date: September 2026, Fixed term for one year initially
Old Town Infant School and Nursery and Oakdale Junior School have an opportunity for a Minibus Driver to transport pupils before and after school between their two sites. The schools are both part of Coastal Learning Partnership, a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
The requirements of the role are:
- A positive character who will enjoy working with children
- A competent, safe driver with a clean licence
- A driver who has Category D on their licence (that’s most drivers who qualified before 1st January 1997)
- A driver who is prepared to engage with some minibus driver awareness training (2-hour training session arranged by the school)
- A qualified first aider or a willingness to be trained.

- An additional adult to support supervision of the children
- Polite, courteous and well-behaved children
