8.75 hours: Mon-Fri 11.30am to 1.15pm
38.6 working weeks (term time plus 3 training days)
Grade C, SCP 3-4 (£12.85 - £13.05 per hour) Poole
Actual Salary: £4340 - £4409 per annum pro rata
Permanent starting 1st September 2026
Old Town Infant School & Nursery is a small but mighty infant school, in the heart of Poole town centre. At the last Ofsted inspection, we were rated a ‘good school heading towards outstanding’.
The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Partnership of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
We are looking for a Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime team. They will be responsible for supervising pupils during the lunch break and maintaining a clean hygienic area in which to eat food. They may also be required to assist with serving meals and dishwashing. Ideal candidates should have some experience working with children and a willingness to undertake training.
