PE Technician 

Start date: March 2026

Salary:  £24,978 FTE / Actual pro rata £19,541 

34 hours a week Monday to Friday  

39 weeks per year (38 school weeks, plus training days)

Fixed Term Contract to end of July 2026

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to support our PE department 

to support and facilitate excellent teaching and learning.  

Previous experience of working within a school environment is desirable but not essential. 

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 5 GCSE’s with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience 
• Be proactive and able to work to deadlines
• Have an understanding of Health & Safety in sport
• Be organised with a flexible approach to tasks
• Have experience of using and handling sports equipment
