Principal Housing Options Manager – Rough Sleeping

Full time

This role leads on our response to rough sleeping across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, working to prevent rough sleeping and ensuring proactive and creative responses to working with customers who are experiencing rough sleeping.

This diverse role includes operational management of the council’s rough sleeping services including part 7 assessments, facilitating a multi-agency response to end rough sleeping and homelessness, leading a proactive and sustainable homeless prevention model and managing our Someone Safe to Stay accommodation projects.

You will bring ideas and enthusiasm to the service during a time of major challenge from rising homelessness, cost of living and renters reform whilst delivering savings through creative efficiency and effective working practices. You will be expected to work together closely with partners to deliver a modern, integrated service and efficient customer care offer that delivers the right service at the right time.
