Quality Improvement Officer - Fixed Term until March 2027

Job Introduction

From 1 December 2025, our refreshed Pay and Reward package comes into effect, bringing a new approach to how we recognise and reward roles across the Council. This means the salary for this role will be changing. The pay range for this role will be £30,024 to £33,143 (pro rata for part time colleagues) from 1 December 2025.

Adult Social Care -  Quality Improvement Officer - Fixed term to 31 March 2027

 

Looking for a new challenge? 

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Quality Assurance team as a Quality Improvement Officer. This role supports the delivery of quality assurance functions across all aspects of adult social care. 

 

As a Quality Improvement Officer, you will work to ensure that our service delivers a person-centred approach that supports people's strengths and puts dignity at the heart of care and support. You will also work to ensure efficiency and value for money within adult social care. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Helping to gather, develop and co-ordinate customer feedback activity
  • Meeting and communicating with residents and groups with lived experience of Adult Social Care services, ensuring they feel informed and heard.
  • Establish and maintain links with professional partners within NHS and local Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) groups to foster partnership working and promote engagement opportunities 
  • Tracking and monitoring improvement plans
  • Collating data and writing and producing associated reports
  • Supporting with engagement activities, including supporting with the technical aspect of webinars

 

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, be keen to learn, with an eye for detail, and enjoy working as part of a team.  If you have these skills, and an interest in Adult Social Care and quality improvement, we encourage you to apply.
