Job Title: Harmful Sexual Behaviour Project Worker
Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months (potential to extend if additional funding secured)
Salary: £28,119
Hours: Full-time – 37 hrs
Holiday: 26 days rising to 29 days + bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time hours)

Due to securing additional funding, we are now seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Harmful Sexual Behaviour Project Worker.
This is a new project with a multi-disciplinary approach in developing a HSB Framework. You will be a single point of contact to all BCP education settings around HSB and assist with the development and delivery of the HSB Framework to all BCP education settings.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the field of HSB and experience of working with education settings and young people. You will have a confident and compassionate approach and the ability to prioritise to ensure the highest levels of service delivery are provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | |
Main Duties | |
- To assist the Engagement Team Leader with the development of the implementation strategy across all BCP education settings
- To develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- To be a Single Point of Contact for all BCP education settings for the HSB framework
- To collect and compile professional feedback from key stakeholders and share findings with the HSB working group to support informed decision-making
- To monitor data and trends linked to Harmful Sexual Behaviour in education settings
- To keep up to date with latest trends, research and data around HSB locally, regionally, nationally and globally

- Maintain and monitor confidential records in line with the STARS Dorset’s policies and procedures
- Complete and maintain monitoring and evaluation in relation to the service; contribute to report writing
- Liaise with STARS Business Support team to ensure effective support is provided
- Maintain accurate records of activity and engagement
- Contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of the HSB project
- Ensure that STARS Dorset policies and procedures are always followed and adhered to.
- Work effectively with STARS Dorset staff and volunteers, and in a way that enhances diversity in practice, projects and encourages safe practice
- To be an advocate of STARS Dorset
- The role will involve travel across Dorset
- To represent STARS Dorset at different promotional or awareness raising events
- Some lifting and carrying will be expected.
- Any other duties to assist in the operation of the charity and its services as requested by Management Team.

- Demonstrate a good understanding of the issues and impact of sexual violence, domestic abuse and Harmful Sexual Behaviours

- Knowledge of criminal justice system/processes
