Safeguarding Children Partnership Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join the BCP Safeguarding Children Partnership as its Manager.

As the ideal candidate you will be an enthusiastic individual with demonstrable experience of effective partnership working and of setting and delivering, clear priorities and standards within a business planning framework.

You will have extensive experience of working within a multi-agency setting and be confident working with officers at all levels on strategic priorities. You will be able to produce written reports to a high standard.

You will be able to influence strategic partners and forge effective relationships across partnerships to develop effective safeguarding arrangements throughout the BCP area.  You will work closely with the board chair, scrutineers and key partner strategic safeguarding leads and the chairs of the sub groups. 

You will be responsible for ensuring that the safeguarding board meets its statutory duties and will manage the business unit directing their work to ensure smooth running of all board activities so experience of managing staff is essential. 

You will play an active role in the work of the board and attend relevant national and regional groups to promote and develop the work of the partnership.  You will co-ordinate the boards response to Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews and play an essential role in monitoring any actions for the board or the partners that are identified following any reviews relevant to the board.
