Job Introduction
Self Employed Personal Care Assistant, 3 hours during term-time & 18 during school holidays, BH18 area (EM/DC)
About the Role:
A young lady living with her family, who provide 24-hour support, requires assistance with most aspects of personal care, such as brushing teeth, using the toilet, washing, and dressing.
She requires support to prepare meals and requires her food cut up.
The individual also needs help with their health, including visiting the doctor, collecting prescriptions, and administering medication.
The lady can’t be left alone due to the risk of an epileptic fit or choking.
Individual needs support with their emotional health, as it tends to decline when they are physically unwell.
For social activities, individual requires transportation and support during activities, as cannot be left alone.
Hourly Rate – self-employed carers, please quote rates of pay on application.
Day & Times:- Days to be discussed at interview stage.
- 3 hours per week during term time, 39.14 weeks per year.
- 18 hours during school holidays, 13 weeks per year.
