Senior Business Support Officer - Aspire Adoption - up to 9 month secondment (Internal) or 9 month fixed term contract (External)

Job Introduction

The pay range for this role will be £30,024 – £33,143 (pro rata for part time colleagues) 

We’re looking forward to welcoming new colleagues under this refreshed framework of pay, terms, and conditions. To promote fairness and consistency, all new starters will begin at the bottom of the pay band. This reflects our commitment to equity across the organisation and aligns with the approach taken with existing staff during the transition. Role Overview

As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support to ensure the smooth running of our services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Support: Managing and coordinating administrative tasks to support the adoption team.
  • Data Management: Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Project Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives to enhance our services.
  • Financial Administration: Supporting budget management and financial reporting activities.
  • Service Support: to include coordination and minuting of various meetings and providing admin support to the head of Service.


Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or business support role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Be proactive in working collaboratively and creatively to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness with a drive to working smarter and supporting the way for a more intelligent service delivery.
  • High level of resilience, attention to detail with proof reading abilities and able to work calmly under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
