Senior Housing Options Officer – Rough Sleeping Prevention Team
Our team mission in BCP is to prevent rough sleeping wherever possible and where it is not possible, ensure it is rare, brief and non-recurring.
Are you a dynamic and solution focussed housing professional looking to work with singles and couples experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping? If yes, then we have the role for you!
As a Senior Housing Options Officer you will share in the operational management of BCP’s single homelessness pathway including delivery of the supported housing programme and housing led initiatives.
This role will challenge you to use your excellent customer service and problem-solving skills within a supportive and motivated team. Contributing creativity and pursuit of positive solutions.
If you have the skills to:
- Provide day-to-day operational management of the Rough Sleeping Prevention Team including triage, assessment and crisis intervention.
- Manage effective partnerships with key agencies including Rough Sleeping Outreach Teams, Adult Social Care, primary and secondary health services, drug and alcohol teams, the voluntary and faith-based sector and accommodation providers.
- Foster co-production, strength based and trauma informed practice within the team
- Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff members
