Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Wallfield.
Wallfield is a 14-bedroomed residential home that cares for people with learning disabilities. It is situated in Southbourne which is around 4 miles away from Bournemouth town centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting our clients to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach.
Providing high-quality care and support, centred around each client's needs.
Ensuring that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
Coordinating and leading support staff in the provision of personal care.
Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines.
The ability to work flexibly across the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings.
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience of working in the care sector.
- Knowledge of relevant Community Care and Safeguarding legislation.
- Awareness of Health & Safety.
- Effective communication skills.
- Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or a willingness to achieve this.
Part-time - 20 hours per week.
