Role Purpose
We are looking for a pro-active, motivated team player who is looking to take the next step in their career.
The post will be responsible for our commercial waste operations including staff and vehicles, the management of the Cabot Lane depot and the Council’s reuse shop ‘new to you’.
Main Responsibilities
You will be working closely in a team of four Supervisors who between them manage the Millhams Recycling Centre in Bournemouth, the Recycling Centre and Transfer Station at Nuffield, Poole and the Cabot Lane Depot. There will be a requirement to cover all supervisor roles and some work will encompass activities at all locations.
There will be an opportunity to study towards the WAMITAB Level 4 High Risk Operator Competence for Managing Transfer of Hazardous Waste qualification, IOSH Level 4 Managing Safely, and if this is the career for you, we can identify further development and continuing competence.
The role will include some early starts, late finishes and working some weekends.
