SPECIALIST TEACHING ASSISTANT 

ASD and/or Speech and Language

Grade 4 £23,893 - £25,119 F.T.E/pro rata 

(permanent)

Term time only: start asap


We are looking for:

 

Specialist teaching assistants (part-time or full-time considered) with expertise and proven skills in working with children with ASD and/or delivering speech and language programmes. These roles will include working with children 1:1, groups and supporting learning in class, working alongside the SENCO, teachers and other professionals. These are new roles that will help us to enhance our provision for a number of our children. We would love to hear from you if you feel you could offer either or both of these particular skills. These roles will be permanent positions.

 

You must have a genuine interest in working with children and entering the education profession. You will have lots of energy, resilience, be keen to learn and willing to have a go. We would welcome any specialist skills such as music, art, outdoor learning, cooking, drama, dance or sport etc as we would work with you to ensure you get the opportunity to develop these with our children.
