Supported Lodgings Workers - 12-month fixed term post
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Supported Lodgings Worker to join BCP Fostering and Supported Lodgings Service. This is full time, 12-month fixed term post. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a service dedicated to improvement, and we are looking for a child-focused Supported Lodgings worker to join us on this journey.
In this role, you will assess and support Supported Lodgings Carers, playing a vital role in ensuring high-quality placements. You will also contribute to the recruitment of Supported Lodgings carers, actively participating in an ongoing recruitment campaign, responding to initial enquiries, conducting initial visits, and co-hosting information sessions.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working alongside care experiences young people & carers
- Has an understanding of the challenges and barriers young people can face.
- Has experience of working in a fast-paced team and is confident in multi-tasking and prioritising
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is committed to working in collaboration with colleagues and partners across children’s services,
- Is innovative and solution focussed to ensure the best possible outcomes for carers and young people.
