28.75 hours, term-time (38 weeks, not working inset days)
Monday – Friday, 8.30am-3.15pm with one hour unpaid lunch break
Actual Salary: £15,268 – £15,947 pro rata
20 hours, term-time (38 weeks, not working inset days),
Monday – Friday, 8.30am-12.30pm
Actual Salary: £10,621 - £11,093 pro rata
Both roles starting 1st September 2024, Fixed Term initially until 31st August 2025
Longfleet CE Primary School is a busy and thriving school, with impressive facilities and resources and a supportive Senior Leadership Team. We are currently seeking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant (level 2) to join our positive and highly skilled team as soon as possible. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience working within a primary setting including supporting pupils who have additional Special Educational Needs. Candidates should have the ability to motivate and encourage children and be enthusiastic, responsible, and enjoy working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children to progress with their learning, promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holders must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and ideally an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent (or currently working towards this).
