Transformation Information Management Officer

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about providing and analysing performance data to improve services? Do you want to make a difference to people and their families, by supporting Adult Social Care to make evidence-based decisions? 

Here at BCP Council, Adult Social Care is transforming its services and there is a need for someone to join the Performance Team to support the development of transformation related data. The successful candidate will analyse performance, interpret and understand the national picture, provide bench marking and track measures. 

We are looking for a highly skilled senior data analyst to work closely with operational teams to understand metrics that are required and co-produce data sets that evidence the Performance of Adult Social Care services at BCP Council. This is 12 month temporary contract starting on 7th October 2024. 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets.
  • Develop and implement data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Communicate insights and work alongside the leadership team to understand performance of services.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Support the Performance Team with their ongoing development of advanced analytical and visualisation techniques.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a related field
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
