Assistant Family Support Worker

Linwood School is an all aged range mixed, day special school which welcomes pupils from a wide geographical area and supports a comprehensive range of special educational needs including moderate (MLD), severe (SLD) and profound (PMLD) and complex learning difficulties (CLD) as well as pupils with autism (ASD).
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Family Support Worker to play a significant pastoral role in this highly successful school. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and be able to work flexibly across all school sites during term time.
The role will involve working with parents/carers, pupils and other agencies to develop partnerships between the school and families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
The successful applicant will be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline related to children and families.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to have a current full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to multi campus working requirement.
