The pay range for this role will be £33,699– £39,152 (pro rata for part time colleagues)

BCP Council Adult Social Care Commissioning have an exciting opportunity for a permanent post within the Drug & Alcohol Commissioning Team.
This role will play a key role in supporting the commissioning functions within the team, supporting on development, implementation and improvement of projects / programmes as directed by the needs assessment, feedback from individuals using services or stakeholders including carers and family members and/or requirements from central Government.
This post will suit someone who has a background or understanding of working with people with substance use issues or has previous experience / background of working within health and social care arena or experience of commissioning or transferable skills that support the key activities detailed within the job description.
As a commissioning officer, you will be expected to manage your time and workload effectively and show attention to detail. You need to have confidence to engage positively at meetings, represent BCP DACT at a local, regional and national level on the substance use agenda, develop strong partnership working and be able to communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
You will be working in a supportive management and learning environment. There will be opportunities to support and develop projects, attend webinars and training to further develop your knowledge and skills in the commissioning and social care sector. BCP DACT are looking for a full time officer Mon - Fri but would welcome applications from individuals who would like part time hours.
