Required to start November 2024

Grade D/E, point 5 – 11, dependent on experience 

£12.08 - £13.46 per hour

Term time only, working hours are variable based on exam and mock exam periods which run throughout the school year apart from December and April

Our Facilities

We are investing significantly in our facilities including a £3.3 million classroom reconfiguration project completed for September 2022 and ongoing replacement of heating and domestic water services. The school operates using Microsoft Office 365 and we make extensive use of Microsoft Teams. Teams is our platform for sharing resources, setting homework and collaborating with colleagues. Students and staff also have remote access to the school’s network.

The Role

Corfe Hills School is looking for an Exam Support Co-ordinator to join the current team of invigilators on a casual basis.  You will need to have the flexibility to be available during all exam and mock exam periods. Exams and mock exams run all throughout the school year apart from December and April.

In this role you will be responsible for setting up specialist exam rooms which requires the collection and return of papers, various equipment and computers.  You will need to be confident using IT including memory sticks and loading programs for students.   You will need to be available throughout the exam in case any issues arise which will need to be resolved promptly.  As part of this role you will also be required to invigilate in non-specialist exams and provide support and assistance with the examination process. This will involve assisting with the setup of examination venues, ensuring candidates do not speak during exams and dealing with any queries raised by candidates during the exam.  You will also need to check attendance and supervise candidates leaving the examination venues.
