Information Governance Officer

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Information Governance Officer who will play an active role in supporting a small and friendly team within Adult Social Care Services.  This is an opportunity to move into or develop within information governance and you will help promote an excellent information governance culture within the organisation.

 

This post will give the successful candidate a great and important opportunity to support the overall development, management and delivery of the Information Governance Strategy and work programme and to assist the Team Manager and Strategic Group Board.  

 

You will be a first line point of contact for individual information rights request (such as subject access requests), freedom of information requests and other information governance and data protection related matters, and as an Information Governance Officer, you will understand the importance of best practice to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.

 

If you have an interest and motivation to develop your skills and experience, possess good communication, organisational, IT and information governance skills, and a positive attitude we would be pleased to hear from you.  

This role will be based at the BCP Civic Centre in Bournemouth and will combine remote and office working.
