Job Introduction

Role Purpose and Main Responsibilities

We have vacancy for a Commercial Waste Loader / Waste Operative. No previous experience is required. 

 

Loading on a trade refuse / recycling vehicle moving large, potentially heavy, bins from premises to the collection vehicle. Work may also involve collection of bulky items e.g., sofas and chairs, as part of the bulky waste collection service. 

 

The role can be physically demanding and involves being outside in all weathers. We want to give successful candidates the opportunity to learn new skills, therefore training can be provided in the future for you to learn new skills such as LGV driving. 

 

The full-time post is 37 hours a week working on a rota basis. It does involve some early starts, some late finishes and working some weekends.
