Salary: 6, SCP 16-22 (£29,572-£32,654 FTE)
Actual Salary: £23,953 - £26,450 pro rata

Heathlands Primary Academy & Pre-School is a one-form entry primary academy located in the West Howe area, Bournemouth. We have around 200 pupils from Nursery age 3 through to year 6 age 11. The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative partnership of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
Heathlands is seeking a Pre-School Room Leader to be based in the Caterpillars classroom to support our very youngest learners. This role is within our team of friendly and skilled professionals. It will involve the effective running of the Pre-School room under the guidance of the EYFS Leader to fulfil our vision of high-quality Early Years provision.
The role includes:
• maintaining high standards of childcare within the room and ensuring activities and the environment are high quality
• carrying out observations, assessments and maintaining partnerships with parents and any multi agency professionals involved
• working with a trained and experienced Teaching Assistant and other staff
• ensuring that the room follows school policy and meets the requirements of the EYFS to show best practice
