Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our management team at Avon View.
Avon View is located on the outskirts of Christchurch. It offers accommodation for 81 clients over 3 floors providing nursing, palliative, residential and dementia care.
You will need to have full oversight of the service and ensure that client safety and person centred support is provided at all times.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying opportunities for achieving and improving high standards of quality and efficiency for our clients.
- Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines.
- Ensuring that the needs of the clients are assessed, care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
- Managing staff inductions, training, attendance and supervisions through effective communications and engagement.
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience and a good understanding of CQC and Health & Safety requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, risk assessments, budgeting.
- The ability to maintain good partnership working relationships with commissioners, health professionals and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a positive can do attitude.
- NVQ 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
