We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sixth Form Study Mentor to provide study skills coaching and academic mentoring of Sixth Form students. The role focuses on helping Sixth Form students to achieve their full potential by developing their skills as independent learners. The role also includes tracking study period attendance and punctuality, together with supporting students’ future career aspirations and university applications. A natural empathy, caring nature and proven experience of working with students are all essential requirements to work in this challenging but extremely rewarding position. Candidates should have positive approaches to and enjoy working with young people and be able to set clear guidelines for them. In turn, you will have a fulfilling opportunity to support and make a difference to the lives of young people in Sixth Form. The candidate will also preferably have worked in an Educational environment or recently left or about to leave University education.
