Beach Hut Officer

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen within BCP Council Seafront Operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced individual to join our Beach Hut Team to assist with the delivery of BCP Council’s beach hut service.

Managing the end-to-end administration of the beach hut booking and licensing process, as well as other ancilliary services, the post holder will focus on maximising income, liaison with customers, ensuring letting procedures are followed, and providing high quality customer service. 

Working as part of a small team at our Bournemouth seafront office, the successful applicant will be a great communicator with good organisational skills, who enjoys working on their own initiative with minimal supervision. 

This role will require the postholder to manage their own areas of responsibility, often under pressure and to tight deadlines. The role also entails preparation of data for financial reporting and analysis and will suit a person who is commercially astute.

A good working knowledge of MS office and IT solutions, along with a disposition to promote high standards of customer care are essential for this integral post.
