Site Manager – Permanent
Grade 6 – SCP17 to SCP22 – Full Time, 52 weeks per year
FTE: £31,022 - £33,699
5 days per week – Monday to Friday, following a shift pattern between 7am and 6pm daily
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, well-organised, enthusiastic, dedicated, practical and efficient person to join our school team as Site Manager.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us from 1st November 2025.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day support to all staff to ensure the environment is safe and fully operational for children and staff.
- Maintaining regulatory checks and documentation across areas such as Fire, Health and Safety, and Security.
- Supporting the School Business Manager with site projects including planning, quotations, and budget research, using Microsoft Office tools.
- Keeping the school asset inventory accurate and up to date.
- Carrying out repairs, painting, minor plumbing, gardening, and general site improvements.
- Managing the external cleaning contract.
- Overseeing the school’s refuse requirements.
- Supporting staff with preparations for special events, lifting, and occasional out-of-hours activities.
