Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and driven individual to join their busy team.

Role Purpose
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a fantastic team who work directly with children to help them engage and progress in weekly sport sessions (Junior Academies in Trampoline, Gymnastics)
If you consider yourself to be reliable, able to confidently communicate, engage and motivate children and support them to develop their skills in the sport then we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for individuals who are already qualified in their discipline and who can provide casual cover for annual leave and other absences.
Depending on the level of qualifications held, the rates of pay vary
- Level 1 qualification is £10.50 per hour
- Level 2 qualification is £15.46 per hour
- Level 3 qualification is £18.17 per hour
These rates are reviewed annually.
Current academies run:
Gymnastics
- Tuesday and Wednesday 15:45-19:30 (3x 75 minute sessions)
- Tumble Gym Wednesday 10:00-12:00 (pre-school aged)
Trampoline
- Friday 16:00-19:00 (3x 60 minute sessions)
- Saturday 09:00-12:00 (3x 60 minute sessions)
Open Trampoline- these are taster sessions.
- Friday 19:15-21:20 (2x 60 minute sessions)
Main Responsibilities
The Coaching team are responsible for the delivery of either introductory or progressive instruction to predominantly children in a safe and engaging way.
Continual assessment and feedback to be given to Junior Academy participants via our software.
Assisting with set up and pack down of equipment may be required.
The Ideal Candidate
It is essential for the role that you hold an up-to-date and valid qualification in the sporting discipline you are applying to coach, as well as it being desirable to hold a current and valid First Aid certificate. Please note- if your application does not show that you currently have the essential qualifications, it will be rejected.
Knowledge of health and safety would also be desirable
Will ideally have experience of coaching children aged 4 to 15 years old.
